What is legendary difficulty skyrim

Leveling up in Skyrim is quite strange compared to other games as cheesing the game is so easy you might even do it unintentionally. Skills in the game such as one-handed and restoration increase based on how much you use them; from there you can individually level them up.

Cheesing aside, use the skills that you want to upgrade the most. So, if you want to be an ax swinging blacksmith than upgrade smithing and the two-handed skill. Oh, and if you want a good guide for leveling up in the easiest way possible, here ya go.

So we mentioned smithing at the end there, well, it might be one of, if not the best skill in the game no matter how you play. See if you level up the smithing skill, you gain access to higher quality resources and with better resources you'll be able to make better armor -- the best armor actually.

That could be the badass Daedric armor seen above, the sleek Elvish armor or even Dragon plated armor. Funny part is you can do all of this really early into the game too.

As soon as you hit Whiterun start upgrading the smithing ability, you won't regret it. Bethesda is infamous for doing some goofy things in their games. Whether it be giving you the option to send a radiation immune companion in to save the day in Fallout 3. Or inserting a game altering quest in the middle of Skyrim when it clearly shouldn't be available until the end. The Civil War quest is undoubtedly one of the game's most fun as you gain the option to pick a side between Skyrim's two feuding factions and fight for them to win the throne.

User Info: Cattabria. User Info: Nicodaemos. Doesn't matter for non-combat. Until you spread your wings, you'll never know how far you can walk. User Info: drumble No skill increases at a faster rate when you play on legendary difficulty. Skills increase when you use them, so the more you use them the faster they increase. Since it will take more use of weapons to take enemies down, combat skills will likely increase faster.

Non-combat skills will only increase faster if you use them more frequently. So if you're having to sneak a lot more to score more powerful attacks, or to avoid difficult enemies, then sneak will increase faster.

If you're having to heal a lot more frequently, or you use up your created potions more frequently, then restoration and alchemy will increase faster.

GT: Diabolus Bummer so setting game on Legendary won't raise any of my skills faster, be same rate if playing on novice. I did some googling and found this article of Skyrim new Legendary. Weapon skills one-handed, two-handed, archery and some mage skills will improve at a faster. Enemies require many more strikes to take down. Combat skills will improve, but armor skills will flounder.

This is essentially meant to be a way to completely remove the level cap from the game and give players an incentive to play further. This came as a breath of fresh air for PS3 gamers as before this, Bethesda had been unable to port its DLCs to the console.

January saw the first instance of the PS3 getting Skyrim DLC through Dragonborn, and it looks like the developers have finally figured the porting out. Hearthfire was originally released back in October. It allows you to purchase land and build your own house from the ground up — from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armoury, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden and more. The new DLC also allows you to adopt children.
