The sound system was crazy good and we were treated well by the bar staff. All in all this girls night turned out to be one of the best we have had in a long time and we will be back sooner rather than later! Thanks Beta!!!! Overall the best nightclub in lodo. Clean, good music and nice staff make for a great night.
Great place to reserve your private area for a b-day party. Can't wait to go back! It is very old when clubs try to be something they're not. Get some b-boys, and poppers in there again. Not everyone in Denver is impressed with this whole go-go dancer thing. I am impressed when I see someone who can actually rip up the dance floor. So What was the best thing this club had going for it. Rise, while a bit on the expensive side, is the best club in Lodo, hands down.
You'll find excellent drink service, a great party atmosphere and great DJs. Their weekly events are also something to see. I still can't figure out the palm trees on the patio. If Aspens or Evergreens aren't seen in Miami, why should we see palm trees here in Denver? Other than that, Rise has a bright future here and these guys know what they're doing when it comes to keeping people coming back. The line takes way too long inorder to have a high class look.
Once inside it has nice dance club decor with light blue and white lighting there go-go dancers that make for an entertaining view. The club seems to be for the newly 21 or those who want to pretend to be newly The drinks cost too much and the cover is too much for a DJ that just plays your regular high paced club music.
The confetti was a very nice touch, though. Overall, I think the club provided a very good experience. It seems like they could have done a better job lining up artists to precede Overwerk, even on a Thursday night, so I'm lowering their rating by a star because of that. And I have a feeling the weekend crowd would be more rowdy and larger than a Thursday night, but anyway I'm sure we'll be visiting again.
Tips: Take ear protection! Actually Beta was MUCH less loud than the concert we went to at the Fillmore a few months ago The Glitch Mob but still, if you end up near the speakers you'll feel the hair on your skin moving so imagine what they'd do to those teeny little hairs in your ears!
There are no tables, unless you pay an exorbitant "VIP bottle service" fee. Take a dollar or two and tip the bathroom attendant. I'm guessing that the real purpose of having an attendant is to discourage drug use and quickly catch the drunken "accident" that night happen in there, but they have a potentially difficult job to do, so I made sure I carried a dollar with me for the tip jar. There's a parking lot about a block away; very convenient. The club is a good size, alright patio, the one thing I found different was the dancefloor.
The speakers face inwards making the music concentrate only in the dancefloor area. There's another large area behind the dancefloor where you cannot experience the music as well as on the dancefloor. The dancefloor is so packed.
It would be really nice if they put speakers and opened up the dancefloor to accommodate more dancing. The people were very nice, so we're the staff. I would definitely go back here to see another DJ. Beta has a a world-class sound system designed for a great party experience in Denver.

The attorney for Beta Nightclub's owner provided Denver7 with the following statement, Considering the pending action, Beta is electing to not appear on camera to discuss this matter and issue the following written statement: Beta Nightclub is awaiting supporting documentation from the City to fully evaluate the allegations being made.
Beta dedicates significant resources in employing security to ensure a safe atmosphere. Beta has attempted to contact the Denver Police Department in an effort to work collaboratively to discuss strategies and solutions to address their concerns, but the invitations have gone unanswered.
Beta intends to defend the allegations through the administrative process and welcomes future opportunities to work with the City and the lower downtown community to improve the Denver nightlife experience.
