Retract the applicator from your vagina and if you have a 6 pessary pack pull apart the plunger and applicator and wash in warm soapy water rinse and then thoroughly dry, if you have a single pessary pack discard applicator. Canesten Pessary should be inserted in 4 easy steps: Remove the plastic applicator and 1 pessary from the blister pack and insert the pessary into the wide end of the applicator. Squeeze the wide end of the applicator at both sides and push the pessary into the hole so that about 1cm is inside the applicator.
