CSU campuses may enter into course-to-course or program-to-program articulation agreements with other CSU campuses, any or all of the California community colleges and other regionally accredited institutions. Applicants who have completed fewer than 60 transferable semester college units fewer than 90 quarter units are considered lower division transfer students. Applicants who have completed 60 or more transferable semester college units 90 or more quarter units are considered upper division transfer students.
Applicants who complete college units during high school or through the summer immediately following high school graduation are considered first-time freshmen and must meet the CSU minimum eligibility requirements for first-time freshman admission.
Transferable courses are those designated for baccalaureate credit by the college or university offering the courses and accepted as such by the campus to which the applicant seeks admission. Due to increased enrollment demands, most CSU campuses do not admit lower-division transfer applicants. An applicant who completes fewer than 60 semester 90 quarter units of college credit is considered a lower-division transfer student.

Cum Laude: an overall cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3. These students are entitled to wear a maroon cord. The Academic Requirements Report ARR will provide a detailed summary of your degree requirements, both completed and still unmet.

Complete your Timely Graduation Appeal, which will include : Your personal statement explaining why you are requesting additional time or a change to your degree objectives. An Application for Graduation if you have not yet applied for graduation or a Request to Change Graduation Term if you previously applied for graduation.
The Application for Graduation or Request to Change Graduation Term will automatically be included in your link to the Timely Graduation Appeal based on your circumstances. All students must attempt the GPE before they apply to graduate. To graduate, students must pass the GPE or its equivalent and also successfully complete a Writing Intensive Capstone course. Please see the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement for additional information on the pathways to completing these requirements.
Receive Formal Faculty Approval from your major department. This does not require any action on the part of the student. Therefore, you may be required to extend your graduation date. Degree Awarded Your degree has been conferred Please note: Your record will be reviewed throughout your graduation term and your graduation status will be updated based on any changes made to your record.
